Definition
MAG refers to an adverb that primarily modifies a predicate, another adverb, or an entire sentence.
Characteristics
- MAG adds information about manner, degree, frequency, time, or place.
- MAG usually comes before what it modifies, but its position can be flexible depending on the sentence structure.

- MAG and MM both modify other elements within a sentence. MAG primarily modifies predicates but can sometimes modify nouns. MM, however, only modifies nouns and always comes before them.
